The Korean music agency HYBE and the American record label Geffen Records' joint girl group, CATSAEYE, topped the US Billboard 200 chart, drawing attention as a successful case of K-pop system globalization. CATSAEYE, composed of multinational members, combined sophisticated pop music with K-pop dance and gained popularity among local fans in the United States by emphasizing diversity. This is analyzed as an expansion of K-pop in the 'Made by Korea' way. The success of CATSAEYE means that content created overseas through the K-pop system and planning, rather than content produced in Korea, has succeeded. This shows that K-pop has achieved true globalization beyond simple music exports.
