The biggest reason for changing jobs..

I have never worked in a large organization..
Although I have been dispatched to work in a large organization, the company I actually worked for was not that large..
Here, "large" and "small" mean
the number of Koreans.

The organization I worked for.. It feels a little bit violent when you call it an organization..
Anyway..
For those who are quick-witted and good at their work, they are given a lot of work..
On the contrary, those who are not so quick-witted and cannot handle their work neatly are not given much work.

Then wouldn't it be better to just cut them off..? You might think so, but
Unless you are a specialist in that field, it takes about 6 months to a year to hire and train someone new and get them settled..

Even if an existing person is not doing their job properly.. they cover it up to some extent
They call it "keeping appearances".
It's frustrating to keep them around, but when you try to fire them, you think about the investment (?), and
When you hire a new person, what if they are similar..?
You can't help but wonder about the cost of training them and getting them settled.

So..
If there is one slow (?) person and another smart person..

The slow person will be grateful if they just do their assigned work well,
and the smart person will be responsible for checking whether the work done by the slow person is accurate or not, in addition to their own work.
When a new project comes up, the smart person usually takes charge.

But the problem is..
In small and medium-sized enterprises like ours that cannot increase salaries significantly through rewards or promotions, the smart person will receive the president's love, but
they will also experience a lot of stress due to their workload.

They receive less compensation than the actual work they do,
and there is not much difference in compensation compared to the slow person.

Why..?

If you tell the slow person, "You are slow, so I will only pay you a little,"
they often fail to grasp the situation and complain.
Even though they are slow, they have thoughts, so they often leave the company,
and when that happens..
you have to find another person and invest time and money again.

So no matter how slow they are, you have to treat them fairly..
And no matter how smart they are, there is a limit to how much you can reward them.

In this case..
The slow people will stay with the company,
and the smart people will leave.

Ultimately, only the slow people remain in the company,
which will further increase the president's anger.

No matter how smart a person is,
they should not be responsible for the work of a slow person..
Even if you think it's worthwhile,
you have to cut your losses when someone is deemed too slow.

This way, the people who remain in the company will not be full of slow people.

I hope you understand how much work I had and how much stress I was under,
and why I decided to change companies..
