Wang Yi, head of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Communist Party of China, will visit Korea from the 19th to the 20th and meet with Foreign Minister Cho Hyun and President Yoon Suk Yeol. This visit marks the first meeting of foreign ministers in about five years and is expected to serve as an opportunity to review the achievements of the full restoration of bilateral relations and prepare for high-level exchanges. In particular, there is growing interest in the possibility of exchanging opinions on the 'multilateral discussion on the end of the war' proposed by President Yoon Suk Yeol. The two countries are also expected to discuss ways to expand and strengthen their relationship ahead of the 35th anniversary of diplomatic ties.
