The Kwon Chang-yeong second special prosecution team is expected to indict about 20 more people this week as the investigation comes to a close. The special prosecution team has already indicted 17 people, including former President Yoon Seok-yeol and People Power Party lawmaker Yoon Han-hong. Whether to indict Kim Kun-hee, People Power Party lawmaker Yoon Han-hong, and 21 Grams CEO Kim Tae-young is also expected to be decided. In addition, there is a possibility that officials from the National Intelligence Service and those involved in the investigation into the Yangpyeong Expressway route change and the stock price manipulation of Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction will be indicted. The special prosecution team is facing concerns that it may be difficult to maintain prosecutions in the future due to the large number of people being indicted at the last minute.
