Police conducted a search at a cafe called Cafe de'Clan and a money changer called Coin Money Changer in the Cipete area, South Jakarta. The search was related to allegations of coal corruption which is suspected of causing widespread power outages. The corruption cases being investigated include bribery, gratification, and money laundering. In addition to PLN, the alleged corruption also involves ASABRI and Krakatau Steel. The search was carried out by a joint team from the Corruption Crimes Investigation Corps (Kortas Tipikor) and the Jakarta Metropolitan Police.
