It's already the first day of 2025.
Because my main job is shrimp farming... I always end up going on business trips to Sumbawa for some kind of named day.
Today, the first day of the new year... The weather in Sumbawa is cloudy and calm without any wind. As always, the countryside village is quiet... and the beach is still.
I departed from Jakarta airport yesterday and arrived in Sumbawa via Bali. As always, it seems that domestic flights in Indonesia are rarely on time.
Yesterday, there were two gate changes and two time changes in Bali before I could transfer. Some Western surfers looking for waves in Sumbawa were also going back and forth...
The flight scheduled to board at 9:35 am was delayed until 10:15 am, with only gate changes and no news. Now it's just something we take for granted, so it's not even surprising.
The surfers who were going back and forth also inquired here and there, but the result was predictable... just wait.
Anyway, I finally transferred without cancellation and arrived safely in Sumbawa to welcome the new year's morning.
I hope that 2025 will be a year where everyone can achieve their goals without stress.
