For humans,
one of the greatest virtues is courage.
Even though many people say it's foolish and stupid,
it is the basic literacy of human beings..
To put it simply,
it has a value that is not much different from what we learned in ethics class,
and if that value coincides with my values..
Whether it's a bookstore owner in a rural area who got dumped by a woman and waited for her for decades,
I want to say that waiting for her for decades is courage.
You can see it in books or movies,
but it's hard to find in real life,
and that's why
there's no courage..
People express it as infatuation..
But that infatuation is what truly
gives people a deep sense of emotion.
We cry watching movies,
but that's just a movie, I mean
I don't deny that it's reality..
However..
When someone does something like that in real life,
we may not be able to cheer them on, but
let's not do anything foolish.
Everyone knows
that it is out of touch with reality,
but the person who did it showed tremendous courage,
and no one has the right to belittle that courage.
