Men in work clothes and headlamps emerging from a manhole in Manhattan, New York City, have been captured on video and circulated online, prompting a police investigation. These individuals were also spotted crawling out of a sewer in Brooklyn last May. At the time, police deployed an emergency response team, but no threatening objects or actions were found. The possibility that they are "treasure hunters" looking for valuables in the sewers has been raised. The New York Police Department is currently actively investigating the incident and has stated that no arrests have been made yet.
