[Seoul=Newsis] Reporters Lee Soo-jeong and Kim Nam-hee = Police investigated a total of 140 people related to the Seoul Western District Court riot incident, and arrested 92 of them.

A police agency official announced at a regular police briefing on the morning of the 17th, "We are investigating a total of 140 people, and 92 of them have been arrested," adding "91 people were indicted with arrest and 2 were released without indictment. We are still investigating the remaining 47 people."

Regarding Pastor Jeon Gwang-hun of Sarang Jeil Church, who is suspected of being behind the Western District Court incident, he stated, "We have completed all complainant investigations, and I understand that investigations of related individuals are being conducted," and "There is no scheduled summons set."

Police said they will examine the period from just before the declaration of martial law to after the Western District Court riot incident, and will look at the overall context including not only statements from the former pastor but also those of related organizations and circumstances before and after the incident.

Meanwhile, regarding Korean history instructor Jeon Han-gil and People Power Party representative Yoon Sang-hyun, who were indicted on suspicion of instigating rebellion, some complainant investigations have been conducted, and legal reviews are currently being conducted in relation, the police said.

Regarding citizen groups' indictment of the former pastor, Kim Yong-hyun, former Defense Minister, Seo Cheon-ho, People Power Party representative, and Hwang Kyo-ahn, former Prime Minister, on suspicion of instigating and promoting rebellion, they answered, "We are coordinating the complainant's schedule."

They ask to be released because their business sales dropped...

Why??? They ask to be released because they need to feed themselves?
