A drone explosion occurred at a bus stop for employees of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine, which is occupied by Russia. As a result of this incident, 16 people, including power plant employees and subcontractor employees, were injured, with one fatality and three serious injuries. The IAEA classified this attack as the worst incident at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant and urged an immediate cessation of attacks. Although no direct damage to facilities related to nuclear safety and security has been reported so far, the IAEA emphasized that such attacks pose a serious threat to nuclear safety.
