The development of the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) is funded from several sources, including the State Budget (APBN) of Rp48.8 trillion for the period 2025-2029. This fund will be used to build connectivity, legislative and judicial office areas, as well as vertical housing. In addition to the APBN, IKN development also utilizes a Government and Business Entity Cooperation (KPBU) scheme worth Rp134.22 trillion for housing projects and infrastructure such as roads and Multi-Utility Tunnel (MUT). Private investment also contributes Rp74.54 trillion to build hotels, hospitals, malls, and other facilities. Several private companies involved in the development of IKN include PT Dejem Nusantara Development, PT Dian Jaya Indonesia, and PT Starbright International Investment.
