A fire broke out at a hazardous materials warehouse in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province. The warehouse stored approximately 1,910,000 liters of flammable chemicals, but there have been no casualties so far. Fire authorities issued a national firefighting mobilization order and made an all-out effort to extinguish the fire, which was brought under control in about five hours. However, the national firefighting mobilization order is being maintained in preparation for the possibility of the fire recurring. Fire authorities plan to investigate the cause of the fire.
