Recently, I've developed a hobby of listening to music alone on headphones at night, so I frequently listen to music of various genres.
I was leaning back in a chair, watching TV aimlessly... When a BTS member appeared on 'I Live Alone' and during a conversation... they talked about military service songs.
For men, that period is really a time that becomes imprinted in life, so it's typical to never forget that moment for a lifetime, and the music I listened to at that time is also something I remember for life... I realized I wasn't the only one experiencing this.
I enlisted in 1998... When I think of military service songs for me... it seems like it was songs by Yangpa, Cho Sung-mo, and Park Jung-hyun.
If I had to pick songs... Park Ji-yoon's "Sky Blue Dream"... These days I can't listen to it on streaming sites, whether it's a licensing issue or not.
Even if I find and listen to these songs now... even though nearly 30 years have passed, when I listen to the music from back then, my heart skips a beat.
Looking back, those 5 years went by so fast... though I think that sometimes, but why did time move so slowly back then...
I think there were really many songs I listened to during those 5 years of military service.
These days, streaming services are so good that it's easy to find hit songs by year... so it's easy to find and listen to the music I listened to back then.
What music did you listen to during a period that was imprinted in your life?
