Robot gait rehabilitation therapy has been added to the coverage of health insurance selective benefits. Previously, only stroke patients were eligible, but now children and adolescents with cerebral palsy, including those under 18 years old, who have central nervous system disorders will also benefit. Robot gait rehabilitation therapy will maintain a co-payment rate of 50%, and the evaluation period is 5 years. This revision is expected to improve access to rehabilitation treatment for children and adolescents with walking disabilities.
