Today, to get the rear derailleur trouble on my beloved-and-cursed Pinarello Dogma 65.1 serviced,
I visited Pondok Indah Build a Bike.
I'm not even riding it right now, but I didn't want to leave it with an unresolved issue, so I brought it in and looked around the shop while waiting.
A staff member came up to me and said HJC (Hongjin) helmets were 50% off.
The IBex 2.0 was available at around 1.5jt.
They said discounts vary for other products.
Even though it's a bit disappointing since the IBex 3.0 has already launched and now they're selling 2.0.. if you're not sensitive to what's trendy, the price seems worth it.
Even with a good discount in Korea it'd be about 200,000 won, so this doesn't seem like a bad price at all.
While browsing on the 2nd floor, I also saw a Trek Emonda and an 8th-gen(?) Madone on display.
Once I actually held the Emonda, I could really understand why YouTubers rave about how light it is.
Build a Bike used to have no real price advantage, but maybe the markups are coming down..
it looks like Trek products are also being discounted now.
