Heavy rain fell in Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungnam areas on the 8th, causing various damages such as falling trees and flooded roads. Due to the rain, roads were flooded and there was a car accident where a passenger car stalled. In Asan, sinkholes occurred, leading to further damage. The Korea Meteorological Administration predicts concentrated heavy rainfall of 50~80 mm per hour from early morning on the 9th. The Korea Forest Service has raised the landslide risk alert from 'caution' to 'warning'.
