Nine South Koreans, including six employees of Doosan Enerbility and three employees of Namdong Power Generation, went missing due to a major flood that occurred in Rasuwa and the surrounding area of Nepal. The Korea Disaster Relief Team (KDRT) conducted an aerial search using Nepalese army helicopters to find the missing persons, but the request for a ground search was rejected by the Nepalese army citing safety concerns. Although the KDRT mobilized drones and helicopters to search the power plant area until the 4th, no specific information related to the missing persons was found. In Nepal, the major flood that occurred on the 26th of last month resulted in over 1,300 deaths and more than 5,600 people missing.
