A 20-year-old Japanese female influencer, Ms. A, attempted suicide during a TikTok live broadcast at an officetel in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and died. Ms. A had approximately 80,000 followers, and the incident being livestreamed prompted police reports and raised awareness among netizens.
