A man in his 40s who was intoxicated and came out onto the road in Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, died after being hit by a vehicle. Mr. A, a driver in his 30s, stated that he did not see the victim in time, and police are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the accident. No alcohol or drugs were found on Mr. A. The Gangnam Police Station is investigating Mr. A on charges of violating the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Handling of Traffic Accidents.
