IBK Corporate Bank's loan product for low- and medium-credit borrowers, 'IBK Good Interest Inclusive Loan,' has a limited annual income requirement, preventing many applicants from receiving loans. 8,517 people were denied loans due to the annual income limit, accounting for 37.9% of all rejected customers. The application of the same regulations to inclusive financial products as general credit loans is becoming problematic. Park Min-gyu, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, argued that institutional support measures should be reviewed, such as exceptions to loan regulations for inclusive financial products, exclusion from total amount management, and provision of incentives to the banking sector, in order to support low- and medium-credit borrowers. IBK Corporate Bank plans to provide loans without an annual limit, considering market demand.
