Hiring plans for large corporations in the second half of the year have increased by 14 percentage points compared to last year. Among the responding companies, 51.2% plan to hire new college graduates, a significant increase from the second half of last year. However, in domestic industries such as retail, construction/civil engineering, and distribution/logistics, many companies have uncertain or no hiring plans due to the slow economic recovery. Large corporations prioritize organizational fit most highly in their evaluations, and there is an increasing trend of combining open recruitment with continuous recruitment. Policy tasks for expanding hiring include deregulation, expansion of tax and financial incentives for job-creating companies, and enhancement of the flexibility of employment-related systems.
