Traffic conditions on the evening of the first day of the Chuseok holiday have eased. According to Korea Expressway Corporation, the estimated travel time from Seoul to Busan is about 4 hours and 30 minutes, and to Ulsan is 4 hours and 10 minutes, a significant reduction. On the other hand, the travel time from each city to Seoul remains at a similar level. However, congestion continues at some interchanges. Korea Expressway Corporation expects traffic congestion on the homeward journey to ease further between 8 pm and 9 pm.
