The Sammul Church incident was the same.
Incidents where our citizens are kidnapped or harmed abroad are widely reported
strangely, always during Democratic Party administrations.
When the other party is in power, these incidents
end up as just a few lines of news,
with little to no government response,
and the media doesn't cover them properly.
They just quietly cover it up.
On the other hand, when these things happen during a Democratic Party administration,
they are used as great attack points while shouting "ruin, ruin."
The Cambodia incident this time is actually
an issue that has been raised since the Yoon Suk-yeol administration.
Last year at the National Assembly, lawmakers from the People Power Party mentioned issues related to Cambodia,
but it was the Yoon Suk-yeol administration that cut the related budget and delayed the response.
And this response attitude was the same as during the SPC industrial accident.
Even though people were dying, they didn't care at all,
and the government just stood by as if it wasn't their business.
Countermeasures are being proposed now, even though there were demands a year ago?
Anyone who hears this will know how many years the administration has been in power — it's only been four months.
The Cambodia issue is the same.
China and Japan have been noisy about this problem since 2024,
but the Korean government just covered it up, saying "it's nothing special,"
and finally exploded in 2025, belatedly making a fuss.
In conclusion, when you look at what those people are doing,
they don't take responsibility even when an incident occurs, their response is slow,
and blaming others seems to be their daily routine.
