A humanitarian convoy carrying Korean activist Kim A-hyun bound for Gaza has been intercepted by Israeli forces. President Lee Jae-myung has directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to mobilize maximum diplomatic resources to ensure Kim A-hyun's safety, secure his swift release, and facilitate his early return home. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has requested his release through the Embassy in Israel and pledged consular support. Israel has announced that the vessel and its passengers will be safe and subject to deportation.
