Over 100 foreign criminals have been confirmed to be illegally residing in South Korea. These individuals mainly fled from Asian countries such as China, Uzbekistan, and Mongolia after committing crimes. The most common type of crime was fraud, followed by violations of the Act on the Protection of Children and Juveniles, drug-induced seduction and confinement, and prostitution. Police are working hard to apprehend and forcibly repatriate these criminals in cooperation with Interpol, while strengthening cooperative personnel and increasing the apprehension rate.
