A Korean rescue team discovered a Chinese survivor at the UT-1 hydropower plant tunnel in Nepal after 10 days. The Chinese national had been trapped inside the tunnel since the massive flood and came down by himself, holding onto a steel structure, responding to the voices of the rescuers. The rescue team plans to conduct further searches to find other survivors based on the survivor's testimony. Meanwhile, one body was recovered near the area where nine Koreans went missing, and the locations of two other bodies were also confirmed. KDRT is continuing its search for the missing Koreans using helicopters and drones.
