Nine days after a devastating flood in Nepal, two Nepali employees were miraculously rescued from the Trishuli 3A hydroelectric power plant tunnel. Rescue teams located the men by hearing their voices within the tunnel and safely transported them to a medical facility for evaluation. Approximately 90 workers are believed to be trapped in the power plant tunnel, and Nepali rescue teams continue to search for other survivors. The Upper Trishuli (UT)-1 hydroelectric power plant, where nine missing Korean employees worked, is located near the Trishuli 3A plant and is a primary focus of the search efforts.
