The Jeju West Police Station apprehended a teenager, Mr. A, who posted a death threat against an elementary school student on the KakaoTalk open chat room. On the 24th of last month, Mr. A posted a message stating "I will kill a first-grade student in Seoul's Cheonho-dong," but he did not specify any particular school or student. The Seocho Police Station in Seoul tracked down the author and confirmed that Mr. A's mobile phone location was on Jeju Island, transferring the case to the Jeju West Police Station. Mr. A could be sentenced to up to five years in prison or a fine of up to 20 million won for intimidation. The Jeju West Police Station plans to indict Mr. A soon.
