Novelist Kim Ae-ran has released a new collection of prose, "That's What I Wrote." This book explores "people," "stories," and "everyday life" through seven years of accumulated prose. In particular, it reflects on artificial intelligence (AI) and humanness while experiencing her father's Alzheimer's disease. Kim Ae-ran emphasized that despite AI's fast and accurate information provision, only humans can feel dignity and consideration through the emotion of "hesitation." He considers writing a painful process and believes that by enduring this pain himself rather than outsourcing it to AI, he can pursue true literary value.
