In 2023, at the Hangzhou Asian Games, Korea won a total of four medals, including two gold medals, through esports events. This year, Korea will also participate in the Asian Games esports, competing in a total of nine events: League of Legends (LoL), Battlegrounds Mobile, and fighting games, aiming for medals. In LoL, Zeus, Faker, and Keria, who won the gold medal at the last tournament, will once again form a team together to challenge for their second consecutive victory. On the other hand, Battlegrounds Mobile will be held under the unique rules of the Asian Games, and the Korean national team, which won the silver medal at the last tournament, aims for the gold medal. In addition, Korean athletes will compete in fighting games such as Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, and The King of Fighters XV, as well as motorsports events such as Gran Turismo 7, aiming for medals.
