Domestic gas station oil prices have continued to decline for 15 consecutive weeks. The average selling price of gasoline and diesel both remained in the 1,800 won range, showing a slight decrease compared to last week. International crude oil prices fell due to expectations of the reopening of the Hormuz Strait, but the decline was limited due to the stalemate in negotiations between the United States and Iran. The government is maintaining the highest gasoline price to minimize the impact of international oil price fluctuations on domestic prices. Currently, the maximum price for gasoline is set at 1,784 won per liter, and diesel is 1,773 won.
