Following the forest fire in Uiseong, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, the government plans to carry out emergency recovery measures including waterproof tarp installation until the end of June to prevent landslides, and will establish joint countermeasures among relevant ministries to minimize soil disasters. Currently, there are over 3,000 disaster victims, and relief supplies have approached 1 million units. The government has decided to grant special contributor residence status to three Indonesian nationals who assisted in evacuating residents during the forest fire. Regarding forest fire damage recovery, the power outage recovery rate has reached 99.9%, and recovery of broadcasting, telecommunications, and water supply and sewerage facilities has been completed.
