Jung Yoo-ra, daughter of Choi Soon-sil, has been referred to prosecutors for borrowing a total of 698 million won from an acquaintance and failing to repay it. The victim claims that Jung provided a tablet PC as collateral, which was obtained and reported by JTBC during the investigation into the state affairs manipulation scandal, stating that Jung needed the funds for her mother's legal fees and medical expenses. The tablet PC was reportedly recovered by Choi Soon-sil's side through a lawsuit against the government and subsequently handed over to Jung. Investigators acknowledged claims regarding the collateral but stated it has no direct connection to the case.
