Korean archery has been showing its strength by winning 46 gold medals at the Asian Games, but since 2014, it has failed to sweep all events due to the addition of the compound event. In this competition, the compound event is considered the key to victory, with India and China being strong contenders. The Korean recurve national team, centered around the trio of Kim Woo-jin, Kim Je-deok, and Lee Woo-seok, aims to recreate the gold medal luck at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The women's national team plans to showcase its abilities with Kang Chae-young leading the charge alongside players who lack international experience. The Asian Games archery competition will be held in Okazaki, Aichi Prefecture from September 25th to October 3rd.
