The government announced measures to address low birth rates and prepare for an aging society. Beginning in June, major airports including Incheon Airport will introduce a 'Fast Track' service for families with three or more children. The government will also strengthen preferential access to the 'Steady Jeonse' housing program for new parents and expand housing support by easing dual-income household income criteria. The government will intensively foster Age-Tech in five sectors including care robots, wearable devices, and digital medical devices, expanding R&D investment and promoting flagship projects. It will support the creation of an Age-Tech startup ecosystem through the establishment of new bio investment funds and continued operation of social service investment funds. Regulatory reforms including expansion of regenerative medicine treatment targets, risk adjustments to promote autologous stem cell cultivation, and implementation of MyData systems in healthcare will strengthen Age-Tech industry competitiveness.
