A taxi driver surnamed Lee was indicted by prosecutors for a prison sentence of one year and six months for leaving an intoxicated passenger on the roadside. In January of this year, Lee dropped off a vomiting passenger who was drunk at the edge of the road instead of his destination and left. The passenger was in a state of unconsciousness and suffered injuries. His family filed a missing person report, leading to a search for the missing person. Lee argued that he had called another taxi and appealed for leniency. The court is scheduled to hold a sentencing hearing on the 23rd of next month.
