The nine-year property division lawsuit between SK Group Chairman Choi Tae-won and Butterfly Gallery Director Noh So-young is expected to be concluded. The Supreme Court ruled that former President Noh's slush funds could not be considered in the property division and remanded the case, and recently, a ruling was made in the remanded trial that Chairman Choi should pay 944 billion won to Director Noh. This amount is the largest scale in history for divorce lawsuits among domestic conglomerates. Both sides can file an appeal until the 17th, and if they do not file an appeal, the judgment will be finalized. Chairman Choi's side expressed its position that it caused inconvenience to many people during the process.
