A woman with the initial WL (35), the former wife of an alleged police officer, is suspected to have died by suicide using a firearm in Medan, North Sumatra. The Chairman of the House of Representatives' Commission III urged the North Sumatra Police to investigate this case thoroughly and objectively. The investigation must be carried out scientifically and the origin of the firearm ownership needs to be revealed. Commission III of the House of Representatives will continue to monitor the handling of this case to ensure justice for the victim and her family. The autopsy results showed that WL suffered a gunshot wound to the head.
