NewJeans's agency, ADOR, has been accused of leaking visa information about Hanni and was reported to the police. Cultural critic Kim Sung-soo argued that ADOR violated the Personal Information Protection Act by leaking Hanni's visa information, which it learned during the exclusive contract dispute, to the media. ADOR is suspected of attempting to create a perception that Hanni could become an illegal resident by leaking information such as the type of her artist performance visa, expiration date, and visa extension application status. In response, Hanni's side argued that ADOR's actions were an abuse to gain an advantage in the dispute process and filed a complaint.
