Entertainment agency CEO Cha Ga-won of One Hundred Label has been accused of fraud worth over 30 billion won and an arrest warrant has been requested. Cha is accused of receiving 242 billion won from Nomus Corporation, claiming to be conducting a business using intellectual property rights of celebrities under his agency, but he did not actually carry out the business. Police suspect that Cha concealed contracts with other companies and entered into double contracts. After two arrest warrant applications were rejected by the prosecution, further investigation revealed evidence of Cha's large debts and debt evasion through contract splitting. Cha's lawyer argued that the fraud charges are unfounded and said he would refute the grounds for arrest in court.
