Nonsan City in South Chungcheong Province signed an agricultural and food export agreement worth 35.3 billion won with six local distributors in Jakarta, Indonesia. Through this agreement, Nonsan plans to export fresh agricultural products such as strawberries, grapes, and dried persimmons, as well as processed foods including strawberry milk and sesame oil to Indonesia over the next five years. Indonesia was deemed to have high export potential for Nonsan agricultural products due to strong interest in Korean culture and K-food. Nonsan City plans to focus on developing processed foods for export and managing agricultural and food product quality going forward.
