A critically injured worker has died following an oil storage tank explosion at the Onsan Industrial Complex in Ulsan. The accident occurred on February 10 at approximately 11:15 a.m. when a petroleum-based chemical storage tank exploded at a United Terminal Korea (UTK) factory. Two workers, including a man in his 30s identified as A, who were checking residual chemicals in the tank at the time of the explosion, sustained injuries. A died following surgery. Fire authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
