At an anti-impeachment rally for President Yoon Suk-yeol, an MVNO company called 'First Mobile' has become controversial due to its promotion. The company was established in April 2023 by 'The P&L,' a corporate entity affiliated with Sarang Jeil Church, founded by Pastor Jeon Kwang-hoon. In a past YouTube video on the Free Unification Party channel, Pastor Jeon claimed it was "a company I created with 7 billion won" and encouraged switching mobile carriers to cut phone bills in half. First Mobile sign-up is one of the 'Seven Resolutions of Gwanghwamun Right-wingers' presented by Pastor Jeon to his supporters. He promised to pay a monthly '3rd National Pension' of 1 million won to those who fulfill all resolutions. At the rally, Pastor Jeon claimed that switching 10 million mobile devices would generate 200 billion won in monthly profits, and announced plans to use this revenue for 'pension' payments. Regarding Pastor Jeon's financial capacity, experts have raised concerns that the 'pension payment' promise could constitute a quasi-loan solicitation, which guarantees principal to an unspecified number of people without financial authority approval.
