In Daegu's Nam-gu district, Dalseong-dong, Mr. A (in his 50s) was indicted for allegedly damaging the sunroof of a vehicle parked in front of his house by throwing a brick after becoming angry that the vehicle was not moved. Mr. A requested the victim to immediately remove the vehicle, but when the victim said they would remove it in the evening, Mr. A threw a brick about 10 minutes later. The court acknowledged that Mr. A threw the brick and sentenced him to a fine of 5 million won. Mr. A argued that he did not throw the brick or that he was intoxicated and did not remember, but the court rendered a guilty verdict after comprehensively considering the evidence. The vehicle repair cost was investigated to be 5.06 million won.
