Jung Hee-ja, the wife of Kim Woo-jung, chairman of Daewoo Group, has partially won a lawsuit against Wooyang Industrial Development for the return of artworks. The Seoul Central District Court recognized Jung's ownership of a total of three works, including Baek Nam-joon's 'My Faust - Economics' and 'My Faust - Spirituality'. The ruling accepted Jung's argument that she had previously exhibited and stored the artworks at Wooyang Industrial Development, but did not receive them back during the process of transferring management rights. However, the court did not recognize ownership for the remaining 185 pieces. Wooyang Industrial Development appealed against the first instance judgment. As a result of this ruling, two works from Baek Nam-joon's 'My Faust' series are expected to be returned to Jung Hee-ja.
