Now I've used all these products enough and the firmware has reached a stable state, so I'll provide a brief summary.
//
1. Display
Size: Vio Navi (3.5") > BSC500 (3.3") > Vio Navi Air (3.0")
Outdoor (bright daylight): Vio Navi = Vio Navi Air > BSC500
Indoor / Shade / Night: BSC500 > Vio Navi >= Vio Navi Air
Color representation (contrast): BSC500 > Vio Navi = Vio Navi Air
Power efficiency: Vio Navi = Vio Navi Air > BSC500
* Display size: If you subtract the radar display space from the Vio Navi and BSC500 screens, the ratio is similar to Vio Navi Air.
* If using a rear radar together, Vio Navi or BSC500 looks better. Air might feel too narrow.
* Due to display characteristics, Vio Navi and Vio Navi Air have lower contrast than BSC500 (with limited color representation and duller appearance).
* In the default (auto) brightness setting, Vio Navi Air is set slightly darker than Vio Navi.
* Vio Navi uses a Gothic style font, while Vio Navi Air and BSC500 use a new rounded style font (matters of preference).
* Overall, BSC500 has the best visibility, but in daylight it's slightly dim even at maximum brightness.
2. Touch Recognition Accuracy and Responsiveness
Vio Navi = Vio Navi Air > BSC500
* Air was initially worse than Vio Navi, but after the firmware update it's at a similar level.
* BSC500 was initially very poor, but improved after the firmware update. However, it's still slower and less accurate than Vio Navi.
3. Navigation
Basic functions: Vio Navi = Vio Navi Air = BSC500
Advanced features: Vio Navi = Vio Navi Air > BSC500
Voice guidance: BSC500 (built-in speaker or earphones) > Vio Navi = Vio Navi Air (earphones)
* Simply loading and using route files shows no significant difference.
* With the latest firmware, all three models have similar rerouting accuracy when deviating from the route using phone-synced navigation.
* There are some functional differences between BSC500 and the others in map and route display interface, simplified navigation, etc.
4. Features and Convenience
* Vio Navi and Vio Navi Air support more data and newer sensors than BSC500 (cycling dynamics, respiration, etc.).
* Vio Navi supports more features than Vio Navi Air, such as training and recovery.
* Vio Navi has i-Climb 3.0, BSC500 has i-Climb 2.0.
* BSC500 has inconveniences such as inability to configure data fields on the device itself and requiring use of the app.
* However, BSC500 has a built-in speaker and supports electronic bell (recommended to use with Di2 integration rather than touch).
* None support automatic waypoints (manual creation via app required).
* None support Strava Live Segments (manual creation and activity recording via app required).
***
Personally, I use BSC500 when riding at night or on busy bicycle paths, and Vio Navi for training and competitions.
With BSC500, the display is clear and the electronic bell is good, but sometimes the sluggish touch response and slight lack of features are disappointing. Vio Navi is good overall, but it's relatively dim at night and doesn't support an electronic bell, which is a shame. Air has the advantage of being small and light, but as a lower-tier Vio Navi model with a screen comparable to the iGS630, it feels too small and I haven't used it much.
I hope the next generation of Vio Navi will combine the advantages of both products. -ㅁ-
