The National Assembly notably held its first official memorial service, offering condolences to bereaved families and survivors while pledging to uncover the truth and prevent recurrence. National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-shik emphasized that the Assembly would make every effort to ensure the special committee carries out its responsibilities.
