I didn't invest in stocks in Korea,
but last year after immigrating to the US and opening a Bank of America account, which was hacked,
they opened a stock account for me (visiting the branch is mandatory),
and I'm trying my hand at US stock investment.
My wife told me at the end of last year and the beginning of this year that she had invested all her money in Samsung Electronics KOSPI 200,
so I'm following suit.
Following suit is tearing my leg apart..
It dropped -30% in one go.
If it goes down for two days in a row
I lose my mind.
Naturally, I had no choice but to bury it.
Hearing stories from fellow Koreans here,
stocks they buried in Korea 10 years ago have increased 7~10 times
and they are worried about what to do. There are cases like that.
Wow.. That's a happy worry, isn't it? (Don't you just have to pay the transaction tax in Korea? In the US, it will be 20% of the profit.)
