Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara and Governor of Bank Indonesia Destry Damayanti met to discuss important economic issues. The meeting covered liquidity, strategies for issuing Government Securities (SBN), and coordination of fiscal and monetary policies. Both institutions are committed to strengthening synergy to support economic growth and job creation. The government will also continue its policy of placing funds in Himbara banks on a measured basis in coordination with BI, Himbara, and Danantara. In addition, the government and BI encourage BLU to not only pursue high interest rates in managing funds.
