The Public Prosecutors' Office will launch on the 2nd of next month and will start with approximately 1,900 people, which is 80~85% of the current prosecutor quota. In addition, the name 'Judicial Control Department' has been changed to 'Non-Prosecution Review Department' amid controversy. The Public Prosecutors' Office plans to introduce a system where one trial department has one trial prosecutor to improve the efficiency of trial preparation.
